As in the past, we plan to involve volunteers and mentors in a variety of ways to enrich our children's experience and provide meaningful ways for community members to connect with them. We encourage students and adults grade 8 and older to apply to volunteer for 3 or 6 weeks. Here is the volunteer application– feel free to share with anyone you think would like to work with us!
Some other ways to get involved include:
- Host a "Field Trip" on Carolina Day's campus: Bring a hands-on activity to teach our students about your area of interest or expertise.
- Be a Guest Speaker: Inspire our students with a talk revolving around your passions and involvement in the Asheville community.
- Strike up the Band: Activate students' musical interests by sharing a performance and getting them involved.
- Lend an Administrative Hand: Support the smooth operation of our program by volunteering some time to help the Director with logistical and organizational tasks.
- Personalize Your Experience: We value everyone's time and talents. If you have an idea of how you would like to connect and contribute, please reach out!
- Contact Director Monica Antonazzo to discuss!
